About the Founder
TurfSense LLC was founded by Garrett Johnson, a professional hockey player and son of 30-year Michigan GCSAA Class-A Superintendent, Gary Johnson. Garrett grew up on golf courses, learned turf from the ground up, and now combines real-world greenskeeping with AI to help courses increase efficiency and let golfers have more fun, as well as offer homeowners autonomous solutions to golf course-green lawns. TurfSense is built by turf people, for turf people, and for the love of the game.
